“They know how to pull off a show!” That's one of the reasons why cafe hopping is always on everyone’s Bangkok itinerary. Thais are incredibly creative, adding unique touches that make their cafes perfect for Instagram.
Hey, cafe lovers and aesthetes alike! I'm Ginda, a travel and lifestyle content creator who's been living the Bangkok life for nine years now. Originally from the beautiful Philippines, I fell in love with this city's vibrant energy and, of course, its incredible cafe scene. Being a total sucker for pretty places, I've spent countless afternoons exploring hidden gems and trendy spots.
Today, I'm sharing my top 7 picks for the most aesthetic cafes in Bangkok. This is just one of the many incredible things to do in Bangkok. Each one is guaranteed to elevate your Instagram feed. So, grab your camera, and your besties, and get ready to embark on a delicious visual adventure!
1. San Rafael Cafe
It’s the huge glass wine-like seats made of wood that grab my attention right away, even before stepping inside. To my surprise, there are more seating pods like this inside the cafe with high ceilings. The interior's clean lines and minimalist vibe instantly remind me of a chic Apple store. In the middle of it all, a stunning 360-degree brewing bar boasts a luxurious bronze finish.
Looking up, you'll be greeted by soaring seating pods with light-toned wood. These cozy pods offer prime seating, so be sure to arrive early to snag one!
If the pods are full, don’t worry! There's more comfy seating both indoors and on the ground floor's outdoor patio. Keep in mind that the menu focuses on pastries, cakes, and drinks.
Address: 552 9 Bang Waek Rd, Bang Phai, Bang Khae, Bangkok 10160
2. Rolling Roasters Ratchapruek
Rolling Roasters Taling Chan is a coffee haven for the modern minimalist. Think exposed brick walls, sleek metal accents, and polished concrete floors. I would say this is the most artistic cafe on this list. Artistic in a way that leaves me in awe of how they combined metal accents with a vintage vibe, plus the huge rolling globe hanging at the center.
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans hits you as soon as you walk in, promising a truly elevated coffee experience. Going up to the second floor, the interior feels like a coffee roasting plant with a coffee lab zone. From the second floor, you can see the center concrete bar where baristas expertly craft your drinks.
Rolling Roasters is the perfect spot for those seeking a cool, contemporary vibe and a truly exceptional cup of coffee.
Address: Rolling Roasters 288 Phran Nok Phutthamonthon Sai 4 Rd, Bang Phrom, Taling Chan, Bangkok 10170
3. After The Rain Coffee and Gallery
You shouldn't miss this if you want to escape the busyness of Bangkok. After The Rain Cafe is a breath of fresh air with its unique dining setup surrounded by coconut trees and a canal where you can row a yellow boat for free.
The menu highlights delicious Thai food and drinks. After eating, you can take great photos rowing the boat, so don’t forget to bring your buddy. If that activity isn't your thing, there is a swing overlooking the stunning cafe and the canal. It’s super fun and relaxing.
After The Rain Coffee and Gallery is located outside the central part of Bangkok. You can get here via car.

4. Take A Breath Cafe
This cafe and restaurant is inspired by a wooden barn. Another place that amazed me because of its architectural design and huge space. I don’t know what it is about wood design that I find so aesthetically pleasing, but all the leading lines I see here are perfect for taking photos. It's divided into main areas like the cafe, restaurant, and outside dining.

5. 747 Cafe
If you’re looking for a cafe that offers more than just design elements, head over to 747 Cafe and have a meal inside a giant airplane. Yes, you heard it right—it’s a Boeing aircraft reinvented into a cafe.
The aircraft features several photogenic spots, and the cafe provides a small terrace where you can take beautiful photos with the airplane's body.

6. WhiteLine Cafe and Restaurant
European vibes in Bangkok? That's Whiteline Cafe. As the name suggests, the shop is painted in white tones that blend perfectly with nature. It's very classy and minimal, combined with green tones from the plants and grass around.
The shop is divided into two zones: the cafe and the Italian restaurant. There’s also a photogenic spot at the back with a garden.
